Athletics has always been a large part of Michelle’s life. Michelle grew up in Boulder where she started training as a ballerina at the age of 4. In her youth, Michelle danced all over the country in productions such as Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Firebird, Coppellia, Swan Lake, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty.

At the age of 17, Michelle suffered multiple injuries that ended her career as a ballerina but opened her eyes to the desire to help people through fitness. In 2013, she started teaching indoor cycling for the University of Colorado Boulder. Six months after working for the University, she was asked to create a barre program that would be used to train all current and future staff.

Throughout her education Michelle has received a number of certifications and special training that includes: STAGES indoor cycling specialist, TRX, BOSU, Power Barre, Balanced Body Pilates, Kettlebell and Strength. Michelle currently works as a Fitness Director, managing a team of 31 trainers.

Michelle fell in love with CrossFit after her first class. Within a few weeks, she become obsessed with not only how it was transforming her life, but the amazing Moov community that she had established.
