Meredith Mealer-Russ

Meredith Mealer-Russ was born and raised on the East Coast, living in Rhode Island, New York, Georgia and North Carolina before moving to Colorado over 10 years ago. She has always loved endurance sports, especially running and cycling. Meredith was fortunate enough to run both track and cross country in college and later raced competitively in triathlons and duathlons. Her passion and excitement for CrossFit began about 5 years ago because of her love for fitness but also because of the intensity of the workouts and the strong sense of community.

I’m an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Colorado, specializing in the psychiatric mental health field. Through this work, I’ve witnessed firsthand the benefits of exercise on both physical and psychological health. As a member of the Moov coaching team, I want to share my passion for high-intensity fitness and its benefit for achieving a healthy and balanced sense of wellbeing.
