Bio

Meg Maurer is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist. She earned her Master of Science degree in  Oriental Medicine (MSOM) from Southwest Acupuncture College, located in Boulder, Colorado. Meg is nationally certified as a Diplomat in Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

Meg is a Certified Rolfer and Rolf Movement Practitioner. She is a faculty member at The Dr. Ida Rolf Institute in Boulder, Colorado and has been teaching Life Sciences, Embodied Movement and Manual Therapy for over a decade. Meg has also completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and has studied  Biodynamic Cranial Sacral Therapy. Prior to becoming a Rolfer, she was a Licensed Massage Therapist and studied Nutrition and Health at The Institute of Integrative Nutrition. All of these modalities inform her work and practice.

Meg specializes in sports medicine: treating musculo-skeletal pain and dysfunction.  She also treats sleep disorders, digestive issues, anxiety and women’s reproductive health. Meg also has a keen interest in neuroplasticity and helping people who have experienced TBI’s and post-concussion syndrome.

Meg has lived in the Boulder area for the last 10+ years. Originally from Connecticut, she loves living in Colorado and getting outside, hiking and biking and playing in the foothills. She is passionate about Movement and Natural Medicine and she is dedicated to helping people improve their health.
